Psychotherapy offers a space in which recurring patterns, emotional tensions, and relational difficulties can gradually come into clearer view. ‘Living the question’ (R.M Rilke) becomes the medium for change.

Self, Other, Environment are central to how I understand our experience.

.

SELF:

/ The real edge is between life & more life, memory and wish.” Stanley Plumly. ‘The abrupt edge’ 1986

Being:

I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, addiction, self-sabotage and other expressions of dysregulation. Regulating in crisis (personal, with other & corporate) has been a feature of my practice for many years.

Becoming:

Struggles to move beyond patterns of stuckness, to inhabit a sense of self and then ‘staying’ is central to our work together. We process this together in relational holding.

My practice is particularly concerned with questions of boundary, identity, life-stage & meaning, differentiation in emotional/familial inheritance, and the ways relational and templated structures continue to shape inner life long after they have been normalised.

I also offer an optional extended in-person session to establish a working alliance and focus, hold the middle, or acknowledge our work in closing. This is held at either a private location in Barcelona, Spain, or at your location in Europe/UK. International meeting is also undertaken with discussion.

OTHER /FAMILY:

/ CLIENTS IN FAMILY OFFICE - BUSINESS

“It has always seemed to me that I had to answer questions which fate had posed to my forefathers, and which had not yet been answered, or as if I had to complete, or perhaps continue, things which previous ages had left unfinished” Carl Jung. 1962

Clients within family office and family business environments often carry forms of responsibility, loyalty, and psychological pressure that are difficult to articulate within conventional therapeutic settings.

My work provides a different experience of being and becoming (M. Heidegger)—one that supports the gradual formation of a more differentiated sense of self, separate from inherited roles, expectations, and relational entanglements.

Particular attention is given to identity formation within complex family and organisational systems, where personal development can become constrained by loyalty structures, emotional dependency, visibility, succession dynamics, or multigenerational patterns of adaptation.

ENVIRONMENT - CULTURE:

/ CLIENTS WITH PUBLIC VISIBILITY or PROFESSIONAL PERSONA

Experience working with clients in artistry fields, professional sport (post-exiting) and visible public roles, where identity, performance, and external expectation often become deeply intertwined in a sense of Self.

Supporting self-regulation for individuals in the public eye experiencing a crisis and movements towards containment is often central to my work.

Particular attention is given to the psychological effects of public exposure and the ways these environments can complicate processes of self-differentiation, emotional development, and relational stability.

Confidentiality and Security

Confidentiality & ethical practice supports the container of our space. Both in what is explored, existence of the relationship and meeting. I work with your psychological and emotional process, thus no notes are taken or stored. This includes handwritten or any AI notetakers or transcribing tools (which I ask you also not to use).

Trust is another cornerstone of the work, but the use of a NDA can be discussed.

I am insured & a member of a professional psychotherapy membership organisation based in the UK & abide by their code of ethics.

All email communication is encrypted, and the use of a private, end-to-end encrypted video platform is offered.

I do not have / engage in any social media, interviews / publicity with any forms of media, or any published / academic work in the field of psychotherapy. My work & practice is concerned solely with fostering a boundaried, ethical, confidential container for your regulation & growth.
